Mushroom Growing Kits
Oyster and Shiitake Mushroom Grow Kits are a fun and easy way to produce delicious, fresh mushrooms right in your own kitchen. Follow the simple instructions and your kit will start to produce mushrooms in about one week, followed by one or more "flushes" over the next 4 to 10 weeks. All you need is an indoor space with indirect light.
Grow kits are fun for adults and kids alike: watch the mushrooms grow from little pinheads to maturity in a few days. You can't get these delicious mushrooms any fresher! Shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes) grow kit comes with a shiitake block, hydration tent, complete instructions and recipes. Soak the block in water for a few hours to initiate, and see your first growth (flush) of mushrooms in 7-10 days. These delicious and healthful mushrooms are grown on a block of enriched sawdust and wood chips. Expect 2 pounds of mushrooms over a 6-week period.
